About Us
Supporta is a collaborative platform built for therapists, by therapists.
We created Supporta because we believe the real growth, healing, and change doesn't happen in the 1 hour session, but in the other 167 hours of the week.
Meet The Team

Sophie Herrera
Co-Founder, Clinical Advisor
Sophie is a Marriage and Family Therapist in training at the University of Alabama. With over 300 hours of clinical experience through a community-serving clinic and internship, she saw firsthand how difficult it can be to support clients between sessions using the tools therapists already have.
She kept running into the same challenges: how to share resources securely, how to keep clients engaged between sessions, and how to make accountability and collaboration easier, all without adding more tech that wasn’t built for care. Sophie loves both therapy and technology, and wanted to build something that helps therapists do what they do best: help their clients heal and make change both in and outside of the room.
Sophie will be completing her Master's in Human Development and Family Studies this May.

Noah McAdams
Co-Founder, CEO
Noah and Sophie met through their shared passion for mental health, therapy access, and entrepreneurship. As a graduate of the University of Alabama with a background in Finance and Entrepreneurship, Noah had already begun exploring how to make therapy more accessible, especially for Gen Z, underserved communities, and Christian populations. His mission-driven approach to entrepreneurship aligned with Sophie’s clinical insight, and together, they set out to build the tool they knew therapists were missing.
Noah is currently learning the programming skills to build the full app with the help of low-code tools and AI coding assistants. He has already built a functional MVP since starting in September, and is excited to start getting user feedback on it. He is also running all day-to-day operations for the business while Sophie finishes up her schooling.

Abby Dunham
Senior Graphic Designer
Abby is a graphic design student at the University of Alabama with a passion for building brands that feel as meaningful as they are functional. After being recruited by Sophie, she joined the team to help bring the vision of the platform to life through intentional design. Abby focuses on making sure every visual element of Supporta is clear, thoughtful, and centered around connection. With a strong eye for detail and a deep belief in the power of design to make care more accessible, she’s helping shape a platform that conveys Supporta's mission.
